Bigger is always better, especially if you want to get the internet’s attention. This super-sized game of Jenga should get the even the most cynical netizens to take notice.
This is Jenga on steroids. Note that call the game “Stack”, because nobody wants to get sued. The playing pieces are 600-pound blocks of wood and the players are operating five different pieces of heavy equipment to remove them. The video is a promotional video from Cat Products (Caterpillar) and you have to hand it to them, this is a great way to draw attention to their equipment.
All I know is, When that stack falls over, you’d better be standing well away from it.

As a former user of the Atari 800XL, I find the Commodore line to be piffle at best but I’ll become a bit more catholic in my support of decades-old hardware and tell you a bit about the Commodore Pi, a wacky emulator that turns your Raspberry Pi into a real, multi-tasking Commodore. Read More

our online sense of well-being this week. Engineered by social media
gurus on one front and hackers on the other, one was analogous to an American Idol trainwreck, while the other, the work of a nefarious cat burglar

Game of Social Thrones Opening
Posted in: Today's ChiliAre you tired of the battle for the Iron Throne? Sick of seeing the great houses of Westeros fight? Well, get ready for A Game of Social Thrones. King’s Landing is Instagram. Lands across the Narrow Sea? Twitter.
This parody comes from HootSuite. It is a fun take on the opening credits of Game of Thrones that makes it all about social media. It is very nicely done. Just like great houses of Westeros, social media giants rise and fall so the map is constantly changing.
In the game of social thrones you win or you lose users. There is no middle ground. You can be a Facebook or a Myspace. Or Friendster.

If you have ever wondered what it would be like if Mario jumped out of your console and ran around your house, check out the video below. It is just as cool as you thought it would be. Just be prepared for some damage to your home.
This video by YouTuber Jhoofnail shows us what it would be like, and also that you really don’t want to unleash Big Bullet Bill in the real world. That guy can cause some serious mayhem if he gets out of the house.
If this ever happens to you, just remember, it could have been worse. Bowser could have shown up and completely wrecked your house just by moving his tail trying to hit Mario.

By now you’ve probably heard the theme song and seen the intro to Game of Thrones a thousand times. If you really enjoy it, you’re going to love this version of the intro for Skyrim.
Skyrim’s world layout and gameplay don’t have anything to do with George R. R. Martin’s epic books, but there are enough similarities to mash the two together into a neat new opening video called “Thrones.” Because why not? In fact, I would guess that more than half of Skyrim players have already read the books or watched the show. Check the intro out for yourself:
Skyrim fans will recognize recreations of each of the major game areas, portrayed as if they were the separate family-owned lands from Game of Thrones. Brady Wold, the creator of the video, says that it started off as a fun project to kill an afternoon, but soon turned into thousands of hours of work, using After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, Photoshop, Premiere, and ZBrush.

It’s been about a month since Hulu officially launched to the public after their 18 weeks of private beta testing. For those of you who have been able to try it, what do you think of it so far? Everything seems to be going well, so hopefully they’ll be expanding the service elsewhere in the world soon.
Now that users are getting comfortable with the service and all that it offers, Hulu has decided to add some new features which make sharing videos easy. They just about covered every main social service out there. Now when you’re watching a video, just look for the “share” button and icon. Clicking it will display a menu like what is shown above. Notice that you can send the video you’re watching to the following sites:
- MySpace
- Digg
- Windows Live
- del.icio.us
- StumbleUpon
- Google Bookmarks
I decided to see what would happen if I shared a video to Facebook. I was already signed into my Facebook account so it automatically pulled up a page that looked like this:
From there I was able to add comments and then either click “Post” to post it to my profile, or switch tabs and send it as a message to one of my friends.
Another great feature as Download Squad points out is that RSS feeds have been changed so that you can receive videos as enclosures. This means that you no longer have to leave your RSS feed to watch a movie, instead you can watch it right from your reader. Nice, huh?
