Splinter Cell: Blacklist Highlights Wii U Exclusive Gameplay In New Trailer

As unfortunate as it was to hear Splinter Cell: Blacklist was delayed until August 20, we can certainly forgive Ubisoft for pushing back the game’s release date considering how awesome it’s turning out to be so far. Ubisoft confirmed earlier this month a Wii U version would also be made available, and this week, they released a new game trailer that highlights all of the unique gameplay mechanics you can expect in this version of the game.

In the Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist, you’ll be using the Wii U GamePad in a number of ways that allow you to manipulate Sam Fisher’s gadgets, like controlling drones and operating spy cameras, as well as be able to access your inventory on the fly. Players will also be able to mark their targets from the GamePad, to then execute them, which we assume would have been the result of marking them in the game. You never see anyone marking an enemy to throw them a surprise bar mitzvah, do you?

Bethesda Teases Unannounced Game Through Vine Video

Bethesda Teases Unannounced Game Through Vine Video

We know Bethesda is planning to make some more noise this year especially considering the team behind Skyrim will be moving on from the game. The teasing looks to have officially started as Bethesda just published a cryptic Vine video of an unannounced game earlier today.

The Vine video Bethesda published shows four scenes: two of the scenes feature barbed wire moving in a circular motion, then a sheet music can be seen, one of which includes Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Air on the G-String.” We’re not sure what Bethesda is teasing in its Vine video, but one thing we do know is that it isn’t related to Fallout 4 as Bethesda’s president of marketing and PR Pete Hines squashed that thought right out of our heads. Netflix Ditching Microsoft Sliverlight For HTML5

Netflix Ditching Microsoft Sliverlight For HTML5

Those of you who have been using Netflix on your computer instead of a set-top-box or video game console are probably familiar with Microsoft Silverlight as it has been the plugin of choice to be able to stream Netflix videos onto computers for some time now. But it looks as though Netflix’s time with Silverlight will soon be coming to an end as the company is announcing it plans to move on from it to deliver their video content to computer users by way of HTML5.

Netflix has some work to do in order for its service to fully adopt HTML5, primarily support for DRM. The company says it has been collaborating with three W3C initiatives which when combined will offer the kind of functionality Netflix would require for its streaming video services. The combined extensions, dubbed the “HTML 5 Premium Video Extensions,” will allow Netflix to deliver its streams via JavaScript, allow DRM encryption and a third extension that will keep communications secure. Check out the video posted above and get a glimpse in to the construction of Microsoft’s first ever mega office. Power Glove Oven Mitt Keeps You Cooking ‘So Bad’

Power Glove Oven Mitt Keeps You Cooking So Bad

If it were up to us, we’d wear a Nintendo Power Glove at all times as it really is the perfect combination of a glove and a video game controller since no other video game console ever attempted to combine them again. We’re not sure if the reasons were because the Power Glove was so perfect, or if no company thought those two things should ever coexist in a single device again, but either way, we know just how rad it is, unless you’re pulling out tasty treats from your oven.

Using your Power Glove to pull out a hot pan that has been sitting in 450-degree heat may not be the best idea, which is why the Power Mitt may be the most logical choice if you’re baking a sheet full of cookies for your fellow bros to enjoy. For only $15, you can be the envy of your baking party as you can pull considerably hot items from your oven while also looking extremely cool by having something that looks like a Power Glove attached to your hand. Just remember the Power Mitt will, in no way, help you become a better gamer. Just a better baker.

Canadian Astronaut Shows Us How To Sleep In Space

As a kid, we’re sure you had a lot of questions as to how exactly astronauts perform their everyday routines while in space, such as eating, going to the bathroom and sleeping. Your inner child is in luck today as one of those questions will be answered as soon as you watch the video above as an astronaut has recorded what exactly he goes through in order to get some sleep while in space.

Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield recently recorded a video which explains how exactly astronauts are able to sleep in space. Hadfield explains the process of sleeping by showcasing a sleep pod that is located inside of the International Space Station which includes a sleeping bag that is tied to the wall. Hadfield also takes this opportunity to show the world his “space pajamas.”

The weightlessness of space doesn’t require much to be able to sleep as Hadfield says you don’t need a mattress or a pillow as you simply relax your muscles and go to sleep. Your arms will naturally raise themselves, which would result in you looking like a zombie while you sleep. Let’s just hope no one else thinks so or else you could be waking up to some serious trouble.
