BlackBerry 10, Z10 Highlighted In New ‘Keep Moving’ Commercial

Hot on the trails of their Super Bowl ad which focused on what exactly the BlackBerry Z10 can’t do, BlackBerry released a brand-new commercial further highlighting both the BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry 10.

The commercial, called “Keep Moving,” doesn’t go for the outrageous as their Super Bowl did. Instead, the commercial highlights some key features of both BlackBerry 10 and the Z10. We get to see BlackBerry Flow, Hud and Timelapse featured in the commercial as BlackBerry hints at its users being able to do more, with both their device and their lives.

L.A. Noire Blooper Reel Is Filled With Funny Faces And Passing of Gas

[Editor’s Note: This video contains some NSFW language.]

Rockstar Games’ L.A. Noire was quite a unique gaming experience as it was heavy on the sleuthing and light on the action. That doesn’t necessarily mean it was a bad game as I enjoyed my time with the game very much and have nothing but fond memories of not only the game itself, but the amazing motion-capture technology that was used.

As great as the motion-capture technology was for L.A. Noire, humans are imperfect and have a tendency to mess up from time to time when they’re made to perform the same routine over and over again. Thankfully, when creating L.A. Noire, someone decided to create an in-game blooper reel that transferred the actors’ blunders onto their in-game characters, which makes this to be a unique blooper reel.

You’ll witness a number of moments where a voice actor’s tongue suddenly propels out of their mouth as they mess up a line, make weird faces and even comment on what we assume was the passing of gas from one of the voice actors.

Samsung Teases Next Big Thing While BlackBerry 10 Shows What It Cant Do In Super Bowl Ads

The Super Bowl came and went, although the game did suffer a minor hiccup in the third quarter when half of the power in the Superdome went out for approximately 34 minutes. That delay meant more time eating unhealthy snacks and watching more commercials, which are two things that are as important as football during the Super Bowl.

Both BlackBerry and Samsung teased their upcoming Super Bowl ads that were scheduled to air sometime during the game, and air they did.

The Last of Us 2-Minute Gameplay Trailer Makes Us Afraid Of The Dark

Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us will be releasing on May 7 for the PlayStation 3, and the trailers that have been released for the game have already colored us impressed. We’ve seen the game’s story slowly progress as well as a number of stealth-action sequences, but the gameplay footage that’s been released today shows a completely different side of The Last of Us.

The gameplay footage that was captured by GamesHQMedia shows just three minutes of in-game footage, but it does a lot in those three minutes. In the video, we see Joel making his way through a dark train station that’s filled with what looks to be infected zombies, which are randomly shuffling around through the station. Ellie assists Joel as she whispers suggestions to him in order to help with the dangerous process of getting rid of each of the infected that are in their way.

What makes the footage so great is the sound effects, which we’re sure once the game releases, we’ll be jumping all over our couch at any little creepy sound effect we hear in the dark. Judging by the ending of this video, we’ll have a very good reason to be jumpy in the dark.

Time Warner, Apple In Negotiations To Add HBO Go To Apple TV This Year

Time Warner, Apple In Negotiations To Add HBO Go To Apple TV This Year

Nowadays, you can watch streaming video through a number of ways that include accessing a service’s application on a video game console, a SmartTV or simply by visiting the service’s website on your computer. Because of that, we probably have become somewhat jaded at the fact that nearly everything around us can serve as online video streamers and when a particular product doesn’t offer those experiences, we tend to scoff at them. With that said, Apple TV may be joining the 2011s as they might be getting HBO Go added to its set-top boxes.

According to anonymous sources who spoke to Bloomberg, Apple may be in negotiations with Time Warner in order to bring the HBO Go app to Apple TV some time later this year. Why it has taken Apple this long to strike a deal with Time Warner is beyond us as HBO Go has been available across a number of platforms ever since it was made available back in February 2010.

HBO Go debuted on other Apple platforms such as iOS devices and iTunes last year, which makes this apparent deal even more confusing as we would think if Apple already had the HBO Go app available on those other Apple platforms, then why not just say “Oh, yea – and Apple TV, too.”

Crysis 3 Multiplayer Open Beta Launches Today On PC, Xbox 360 And PS3

We’re just two weeks away from the launch of Crysis 3 on February 19, but if you want to get your Crysis 3 fix right this second, you should know an open beta is being held on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC starting today. As of now, the open beta has made itself available on Origin, and Xbox Live Marketplace with a release onto the PlayStation Network expected once Sony updates its PlayStation Store later today.

Before you run to Origin or your console of choice to download the beta, take a few minutes to listen to what Cysis 3 producer Mike Read has to say in a new Cyrsis 3 Beta tutorial video. He’ll help introduce you to the two game modes that are included in the Crysis 3 beta, Hunter Mode and Crash-Site Mode. Console players can expect to enjoy a 12-player multiplayer experience, while PC players will be able to play with 16 players.

If you have yet to pre-order Crysis 3 and enjoy the open beta up until it shuts itself down on February 12, you might consider doing so, especially when you consider Crysis 3 owners will receive a voucher for the original Crysis. Who doesn’t like a free game, right?

YouTube Considering Paid Subscriptions To Launch This Spring

YouTube Considering Paid Subscriptions To Launch This Spring

There’s nothing worse than paying for television service to only be interested in a small amount of channels while the rest are barely touched. Television subscribers are paying a ton of money in order to watch their favorite shows, although we know many of you would prefer to pay only for the channels you want to watch. YouTube is clearly aware there’s interest in this kind of content consumption and is reportedly preparing a paid subscription service for a number of its channels.

During an interview with Adweek, a Google spokesman spoke of the possibility of providing paid subscriptions in YouTube’s future:

“We have long maintained that different content requires different types of payment models. The important thing is that, regardless of the model, our creators succeed on the platform. There are a lot of our content creators that think they would benefit from subscriptions, so we’re looking at that.”

There’s no word what channels would be considered good enough to warrant a paid subscription, but prices would range somewhere between $1 – $5 per month for access to the content. We certainly would pay within that range for Epic Meal Time and maybe some of those channels that involve girls jumping on trampolines without even hesitating.

Invisible Secret Door Lets You In Your Home If You’ve Been Locked Out

Stepping outside of your home without your keys can be an incredibly humbling experience, especially if you stepped outside for a moment in your underwear to pick up your mail. You can have a backup key stashed away somewhere in your yard, but leaving a key to your home around isn’t technically the safest option. What you need is an invisible door.

YouTube user oggfaba uploaded a video a few weeks ago that shows a home mod that allows anyone who knows how to access it and instant entrance into his home. The secret door that was created blends perfectly to the outside of the house, which has a valve attached to it, which we would assume is to help find its exactly location easily.

Seeing how the secret door would lose its secrecy after publishing his video on YouTube, oggfaba installed a remote controlled deadbolt in order to keep it secure from anyone who happens to stumble onto his house. Although, if you’re thinking of installing an invisible door in your home, you probably won’t need to install one as long as you can keep your yap shut about it.
