VINCI MV Family Tablet announced
Posted in: Today's ChiliThere are tablets, and then there are tablets. The holiday season is upon us yet again, and it is time to bust that brain trying to figure out just what kind of gifts can you get for your loved ones. Assuming your little one has been pestering you for the longest time to get him or her an iPad, but you figured out that it might not be suitable at all, how about checking out the VINCI MV Family tablet? This particular device is a 7” tablet that runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and it was specially designed for families with young children of up to nine years old. The VINCI MV would arrive pre-loaded with five VINCI Curriculum apps, Kids Library app samples and a dozen VINCI music video titles to help it get started right out of the box as an instant baby sitter.
The VINCI MV can function as a regular Android-powered tablet, where they can feel safe sharing it with their kids as the content does not come with any commercials, and there is also no risk of any in-app purchases, without any worry or fear of violence and adult content. This wireless 3G tablet will also be voice enabled and it opens up the door for direct access to pre-qualified children’s educational content, where among them include the VINCI Curriculum that is sold separately alongside the VINCI Kids Library which has over 800 storybooks, games and videos that can be downloaded.
The VINCI MV will run on a MTK 6577 system-on-the-chip processor that has an integrated GPU. Other hardware specifications include a dual-lens camera, 8GB of internal memory, alongside dual, unlocked, quad-band SIM slots that pave the way for voice activation where service plans are available. Each $199.99 purchase includes a leather case, travel charger, USB cable and earphone with microphone. The only thing that is missing, it is not kid-proof.
