walking dead xbox Walking Dead Game Free On Xbox 360 For A WhileTellTale Games have more or less confirmed this piece of information over Twitter, letting the whole world know that The Walking Dead – Episode 1: A New Day will be made available on the Xbox 360 for free, although this will be a limited time offer. Basically, this window of opportunity will be open until January 31st, 2013. I am quite sure that this will be just like the TV series itself, where watching a single episode is never going to be enough, so playing the first episode for free is more or less going to guarantee that you will fork out 400 Microsoft Points for the other four episodes after that.

Apart from the Xbox 360, TellTale Games is also said to offer the first episode of its survival horror adventure game to iPhone and iPad users for free. Having part of the Game of the Year 2012 according to Digital Spy for free does seem as though the spirit of Christmas is still lingering around, doesn’t it? A quick show of hands here, how many of you intend to give the first episode a twirl?

Walking Dead Food Truck Offers Brain Burgers to Go

Despite what you may have heard, there’s no looming threat of a zombie apocalypse. Sure, there’s one on The Walking Dead, but you don’t have to worry about coming across the undead in real life. Unless you happen to be in London, of course.

Walking Dead Food TruckWalking Dead food truck is actually parked somewhere in the city, and it serves up delectably cringe-worthy delights like the big brain burger, feet and thyroid nuggets, crispy brain dippers, and skewered hearts.

Of course you don’t believe all that now, do you? This is actually chef Mark Jankel’s gory food cart where he’ll be serving up all the aforementioned goodies using “responsibly sourced British ingredients.”

The cart was parked at the Camden Lock Market last August 22nd, but will be moving all across the UK to celebrate the release of The Walking Dead’s Season 2 DVD. If you live in London, check out their official UK page to track the trailer’s progress: facebook.com/TheWalkingDeadUK

The Walking Dead game gets fans on Facebook going

Yes, there does seem to be a trend that moves towards a zombie apocalypse in the movies and TV shows these days, don’t you think so? For those of you who think that zombies will never exist in our lifetime, here is a game that is based on The Walking Dead series, where it has spawned an iOS game in the process, and now we have a somewhat similar The Walking Dead game on social network giant Facebook itself.

AMC and social game developers RockYou and Eyes Wide Games have come together to join forces in the creation of The Walking Dead Social Game for Facebook. According to Eyes Wide Games CEO, Stephen Griffin, said “You start the game in a prequel state. So it actually all starts before Rick wakes up from his coma. And you’re with Shane and Lori en route to Atlanta. The game is divided into chapters so the first chapter is this prequel state. And then every few months we’re going to release a new chapter.”

Each new chapter will play a role in representing a series of the AMC TV series, and gamers will be given a chance to interact with characters from the TV show – now how about that for an added bonus for fans of the show?
