Bing Launches ‘People’, ‘Landmarks’ Categories To Snapshot

Search engine users who prefer Microsoft’s Bing services instead of Google’s… well, Google service who didn’t need to decide as a result of a blind-search test or through being scared of being “Scroogled“ this holiday season have a new feature to look forward to. If you’re the kind of person who performs searches on famous people or places through Bing, Microsoft has expanded its snapshot experience to support those two topics.

Searching for a famous person or place will now deliver not only search results of either the famous person or place, but will also present relevant facts in the center part of the screen. Microsoft used Pablo Picasso as an example, to which we can view additional facts about him such as when he lived, his height, children, spouse and parents. Oh, yea – you can also view his artwork.

Bing’s biggest competitor, Google, has already been delivering this kind of service to its users for some time now, but we’re still glad to see Microsoft offering it to Bing users as it’ll make researching a famous person or place much easier.

Japanese Website For Women Offers Boyfriend Services

All the single ladies, now put your hands up! A new Japanese website offers a different kind of service for women. No, it’s not the spa or the salon, it’s actually a website where in women can hire a handsome young man to keep her company at night. The website is called Soine-ya Prime, and before you think about prostitution, the website appears to have some strict set of rules that excludes kissing or touching private parts. A quick look at the website also reveals the caption that says, “We do not offer any sexual services.” So, what exactly is Soine-ya Prime offering?

Customers can rent Soine-ya Prime’s employees and ask them to sleep with them, go out on a date, have them clean your house – simple cleaning that is, eat with them in the restaurant, and even ask them to cook provided that the ingredients are ready. The point here is to just rent someone who can accompany women, especially during lonely times. Women have bigger emotional needs, so the wholesome service sounds right. Soine-ya Prime says that its inspiration is taken from the television drama show Shimshima, a TV show about a woman who happens to have some trouble sleeping after a divorce. The drama’s famous catchphrase says, “”Sleeping with men makes women stronger.”

Taliban Reportedly Using Facebook To Hire People

The Pakistani Taliban is now using Facebook to hire people. According to AFP, the Islamic and militant group has set up a new Facebook page bearing the name Umar Media TTP. The account appears to have been created in September this year, and it currently has over 274 likes with around 28 people talking about the page as of this writing. Umar Media TTP has a handful of posts written in English.

The first post reads, “Umar Media is proud to announce online jobs oppertunities. Job discription is video editing, translations, sharing, uploading, downloading and collection of required data.” Another post, dated November 23rd, reads, “Dear brothers and sisters. ‘Pen is mightier than the sword.’ Now you have a chance to use this mighty weapon. ‘AHYAH-E-KHILAFAT’ is an official quarterly magazine of ‘TEHREEEK-E-TALIBAN PAKISTAN.’ Would you like to be a writer for ‘AHYAH-E-KHILAFAT?’ You can write to us on topic of your choice, or on jihadi, current affairs, history, islamic movements, plight of ummah, and etc.”

We’re not sure if the Facebook page is genuine, but AFP says that a Taliban spokesperson has confirmed via telephone that the page is being used by the group to “to fulfill its requirements” prior to launching a website of its own. The Search for International Terrorist Entities (SITE) Intelligence Group also confirms that the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) indeed uses Facebook as a “a recruitment center.”

Teen Arrested After Bragging Crime On YouTube

19-year old Hannah Sabata of Stromsburg, Nebraska was arrested by authorities on Wednesday last week after proudly confessing on YouTube that she stole a car and robbed a bank just recently. York County Sheriff Dale Radcliff says that Sabata is now in custody for charges of robbing the Waco bank and stealing a Pontiac Grand Am in York. In the video, Sabata admits that she stole a car, while proudly showing the car keys. She writes, “The shiny new car is a Pontiac Gram Am. Of course I already took the license off and threw them out.”

Sabata also admits that she robbed a bank with a gun, a pillow case, and a note, while flashing the $6,256 that she allegedly took. She even confesses that she told her mom that she just had the best of day of her life. “She just thinks I met a new boy,” she added. Explaining the reason for her actions, Sabata claims that she is a victim of the government, saying that the whole system is just a game, and that the government stole her baby. In spite of everything, Sabata says that she can still find purpose – in jail that is. At least, she will have enough time to re-think her life and to make amends for good.
