Wonderbook: Book of Spells get new PS3 console bundles

Sony did announce in an earlier and separate announcement that Wonderbook: Book of Spells will arrive Stateside this coming November, and not only that, there will also be 12GB and 500GB PS3 bundles that will be accompanied by the Move controller and PlayStation Eye camera, in addition to the Wonderbook title on the Blu-ray disc format. No idea on pricing details though, but at least you know for sure that your Hogwarts enrolment is ready to take off. Even so, your PS Move controller will function as your on-screen wand, which means there is no need to hunt down phoenix feathers to create a new wand when the current one is broken, since we’re all in the modern age now.

Are you looking forward towards the new console bundles for Wonderbook: Book of Spells? Not too sure if this title’s release is going to be a hit, since it is does not have a direct movie to be based upon, but chances are the hordes of Harry Potter fans will still pick this puppy up.

PlayStation Wonderbook starts augmenting your reality in November from $39

If you were intrigued about that Wonderbook PlayStation peripheral we saw back at E3, then your curious wait may soon be over. As of November 13th, you’ll be able to get your wizardy hands on the accessory for the reasonably magic price of $39.99. This is for the book alone, but there’s also a bundle for $79 that includes the Book of Spells game (in collaboration with J.K. Rowling) a Move motion controller and the PlayStation Eye camera. Three other forthcoming titles get a mention too, Diggs: Nightcrawler, BBC’s Walking with Dinosaurs and experiences from Disney, set for release some time in 2013. In the meantime, better start saving up the Galleons.

Wonderbook: Book of Spells arriving in the US on November 13th

Earlier this year, we took a gander at an upcoming augmented reality title for the PS3 that has plenty to do with the Harry Potter universe, considering how J.K. Rowling is behind Wonderbook: Book of Spells. Slated to arrive this coming November 13th Stateside, Wonderbook: Book of Spells will make full use of the PlayStation Move’s augmented reality capabilities so that you can dive right into a truly immersive, magical world. Casting spells are no longer imaginary as you can act it out in the game, where some of them include Incendio, Wingardium Leviosa and Expelliarmus, although you can be sure that your parents will seem to have a mystical circle of protection against such digital mysticism.

The Wonderbook: Book of Spells Move Bundle has all that you require to get started right out of the box, where you will trade $79.99 for the Book of Spells game, a Wonderbook peripheral, the PlayStation Eye camera and a PlayStation Move motion controller. Folks who already own the PlayStation Eye camera and a PlayStation Move motion controller, the title itself will retail for a far more affordable $39.99.
