Technology is great but, when it comes to awesome, nothing can beat nature. Just look at Duncan Lou Who, the famous boxer who got his two back legs amputated because of a genetic malformation. He learned to walk with his two arms—and this video shows he’s now running faster than ever.
Adam Fisk hooked an 11-foot hammerhead shark near the coast line and ended being towed for 12 miles, which were covered in about two hours. According to Fisk, the shark ate a 5-pound bonito from his kayak. Another hammerhead was following him too.

Aerial silk—dancing in the air suspended only by a piece of fabric but not tied to it—is always fascinating to watch. This video of Ashley Smith hanging from a solitary monolith over a cliff, however, has left me speechless—especially since she’s not using a safety harness. Fast forward to 6:30 to see her in action.
If you’re a hardcore gamer, you probably know Snowdrop, the new game engine used in the new Tom Clancy’s The Division. I’m not, so I learned about Snowdrop through this new video just released for the Game Developers Conference 2014. It’s unbelievable.

This truly outstanding photo taken from the International Space Station shows the Japanese HTV-4 spacecraft illuminating the Earth’s clouds as it disintegrates in the atmosphere during re-entry. Unbelievable shot.
Man, it took me an embarrassingly long time to see her but she’s there all right. The picture above is not a parrot but a woman in bodypaint posing so she looks exactly like a parrot. What a fantastic mind trip.
