Sony Xperia SP Render Spotted?

Sony Xperia SP Render Spotted?I am quite sure that the world has yet to settle down from all the dust that was kicked up by this evening’s Samsung Galaxy S4 release, and the world of high end smartphones has just gotten a little bit more crowded. The thing is, will there be room for other players as well? Sony Mobile certainly thinks so, where there already has been a render making its way around Chinese sites, showing off what is claimed to be an official press image of the rumored Sony Xperia SP.

What you see above does seem to resemble what was leaked in the images of the alleged Sony Xperia SP in the past, so it remains to be seen whether this is a job well done with Photoshop, or it could very well be the real deal. The alleged Sony Xperia SP render that you see here will also come with a similar signature power button from the Sony Xperia Z/ZL as well as the Sony Xperia Tablet Z, resembling the former a whole lot, too. Rumors will always show themselves to be the real deal in time, so we await with bated breath at the moment.

Sony Xperia SP And Xperia L Pre-Order Listings Appear

Sony Xperia SP And Xperia L Pre Order Listings AppearWell, well, what do we have here? The Sony Xperia SP as well as Sony Xperia L are two smartphones that have yet to be announced, but they have already found their way to a bunch of sites on the Internet. Both Amazon as well as eBuyer do have placeholders in place (pardon the pun) for both smartphones, but LamdaTek as well as Irish retailer Micro Aid decided to go one up by having put pre-orders for the Xperia SP as well as the Xperia L.

LamdaTek decided to list the Xperia SP with a £312.98 price tag, while the Xperia L would go for £219.18, and it seems that stock of both devices have been tipped to arrive this coming March 19th. As for Micro Aid, they have listed the handsets at €389.79 and €270.46, respectively, and stocks are said to arrive tomorrow. This is rather interesting, considering there has been little to no information on either device, so we will just have to make educated guesses on what these will deliver right out of the box based on the price range itself.

Additional Sony Xperia SP Details Revealed

Additional Sony Xperia SP Details RevealedThe Sony Xperia SP first captured our imagination earlier in the month, and at that point in time, the hardware specifications available to us were as scarce as hair on detective Kojak’s head. However, it is a good thing that there are still some tech ninjas lying around, otherwise how else could additional information concerning the Sony Xperia SP leak out? Apart from knowing that the Sony Xperia SP will be powered by a Snapdragon S4 processor, the looming shadow of Mobile World Congress that is set to happen early next week is reminder that Sony Mobile could very well use that platform to announce a slew of new rumored models, including the Sony Xperia SP.

Other than the dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, the Sony Xperia SP is also tipped to be accompanied by the Adreno 320 graphics chipset, sporting aluminum construction along its edges, complete with a plastic back and transparent, customizable notification bar that is strategically located at the bottom. Speculations abound that the Sony Xperia SP will also feature a 4.6-inch 720p display, an 8-megapixel Exmor RS camera, and 8GB of internal flash memory which can be further expanded via a microSD memory card. Is this the next smartphone upgrade for you?

Sony Xperia SP Images Spotted

Sony Xperia SP Images SpottedThe Sony Xperia SP is a handset that has more than just one reference name, as it is also known as the C530X, or you can also call it by its codename HuaShan. Well, we are pleased to say that the Sony Xperia SP has made an appearance in a new bunch of images which paraded it alongside the Xperia V, where its model number is the LT25i. Considering how the Sony Xperia SP comes in a slightly larger form factor compared to the Sony Xperia V which carries a 4.3” display, this would clearly suggest that a larger display is on the cards for the Xperia SP.

Other than that, we have heard from a little bird that there is a removable back plastic cover on the Xperia SP which allows one to gain access the memory card slot, although the battery will follow an unwanted trend – as in, it is unremovable. The Sony Xperia SP (models C5302, C5303, C5306) is said to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T chipset with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, accompanied by Adreno 320 graphics and a 720p display.
