Severed Toe and Ear Cookies are Too Gross to Stomach

I get queasy pretty easily. In fact, I can hardly eat after watching a horror movie or after reading a particularly gory series of comics. (Cough, cough. The Walking Dead. Cough, cough. Thank God it’s not rendered in color.)

And while I love cookies just as much as the average person, I’d probably have a hard time swallowing these for obvious reasons.

Toe CookiesJust look at the dirt and grime on those toes. And are those molds? Don’t even get me started on the burst corns and blood just oozing out from the end where the toes were severed from the giant cookie foot.

I don’t think I’d be able to have my cookie and eat it, too. And get a load of these bloody ear cookie pops as well.

Ear Cookies

These disgustingly awesome cookies were baked by Natasha of Nevie-Pie Cakes.

Walking Dead Food Truck Offers Brain Burgers to Go

Despite what you may have heard, there’s no looming threat of a zombie apocalypse. Sure, there’s one on The Walking Dead, but you don’t have to worry about coming across the undead in real life. Unless you happen to be in London, of course.

Walking Dead Food TruckWalking Dead food truck is actually parked somewhere in the city, and it serves up delectably cringe-worthy delights like the big brain burger, feet and thyroid nuggets, crispy brain dippers, and skewered hearts.

Of course you don’t believe all that now, do you? This is actually chef Mark Jankel’s gory food cart where he’ll be serving up all the aforementioned goodies using “responsibly sourced British ingredients.”

Walking Dead Food Truck1

The cart was parked at the Camden Lock Market last August 22nd, but will be moving all across the UK to celebrate the release of The Walking Dead’s Season 2 DVD. If you live in London, check out their official UK page to track the trailer’s progress: facebook.com/TheWalkingDeadUK

Zombie Sheets: The Walking Dead in Bed

Zombies and zombettes, here’s a great way to decorate your guest bedroom if you’re looking for something nice and scary to greet your friends. This set of custom-made sheets is adorned with a zombie-attack theme to keep your houseguests on their toes – and the edge of their bed – all night.

walking dead sheets 1

The zombie sheet set was created by textile designer Melissa Christie, and it’s covered with the ever-grasping arms of the undead, as they reach for your guests’ braaaaaaains while they sleep. The best part of the design is the blood-spattered pillowcases – which let your friends know that the zombies got the last person who slept here.

The design is a combination of screen-printing, hand painting, and appliqued hands on the pillowcases, and the result is 100% awesome. Right now, Melissa isn’t taking any more orders for the sheets, but she might do another run in future. You’re best off keeping an eye out on her Etsy shop if you’d like a set for yourself. Otherwise, you could try and DIY a set if you’ve got the artistic chops – and plenty of blood-red paint lying around.

The Walking Dead Infects Disney Princesses

Warning: Before scrolling down, we recommend that you move to a place where there are no kids (both young and old) nearby, because the consequences and ramifications might be serious.

If you grew up reading fairy tales and watching Disney’s cartoons, then you know that they’ll usually end in happily ever after. But what if they somehow got bitten by one of the undead from The Walking Dead?

Disney ZombiesI don’t think the zombies would spare the princesses if Disney ever got hit by a zombie apocalypse. And to show everyone what would become of Ariel, Snow White, and Cinderella, artist extraordinaire Witit Karpkraikaew drew up these eerie images of the undead princesses.

As you can see above, the skin is just melting from Ariel’s frame. And here’s Snow White, looking not-so-white or pure with brains instead of an apple.

Disney Zombies2

Cinderella is the darkest of the three, as she wields an ax and is chewing on her otherwise missing glass slipper for a quick snack.

Disney Zombies1

Witit’s DeviantArt page has been hit with comments and requests for more zombie princesses. I personally would love to see a zombie Belle, from Beauty and the Beast.

Walking Dead Zombies to Descend on Universal Studios

If you’re planning a trip to Universal Studios Hollywood in late September, and happen to be a fan of zombies, you will want to check out the awesome Halloween spook stuff that will be going on. Universal Studios Hollywood has announced its Halloween Horror Nights will start on Friday, September 21 and run through October 31. Among the attractions will be some featuring zombies from The Walking Dead.

terror tram

If you’re a zombie fan, this will be much better than a normal haunted house. One of the attractions is called Terror Tram and will force people to face hordes of Walkers stalking the Universal Studios back lot. The back lot is a rural setting with a small town was devastated by a horrible plane wreck. This time around, Walkers will be moving around the city.

The scary fun will also include a maze filled with Walkers as well. The maze is called “The Walking Dead: Dead Inside” and will force visitors to stumble through Walkers as they try to find a way out of the maze. There will also be a maze called “Welcome to Silent Hill” based on the popular video game franchise.

Zombie Head Gumball Machine Makes You Crave Brains

This gumball machine is pretty gross since it is made out of what looks like a real human head. You have to really want a gumball bad to get one from this machine.
zombie gumball machine
How would you like to be the guy chosen for this project? You are just living your life, minding your own business. You have a good life, but then you die. You are looking forward to a little rest in peace. And then somebody goes and makes your head into a gumball machine. That’s gotta be one of the worst insults that can befall anyone.

zombie gumball 2

Well, if there is an afterlife, maybe this guy will come back and mess with the person who created this crazy thing, giving them some payback. It’s pretty cool, but I don’t need gum that bad.

(P.S. This is NOT made from a real human head – it’s actually a sculpture by Thomas Kuebler, but that doesn’t make it any less creepy.)

Z.E.R.O. Zombie Apocalypse Kit Makes Sure You Survive Hell and High Water

There were a string of weird occurrences in the last couple of months involving some people going stark crazy because of the things that they managed to do. It’s too gruesome to describe in detail, but here’s one work that sums it all up: cannibalism. This freaked a lot of people out, especially because they all occurred within a few days or weeks with each other.

Some pranksters also chose to capitalize on these real-world happenings by spreading warnings about zombies and the upcoming apocalypse online. Now, you guys should know better: there’s no such thing as zombies or an apocalypse. If you believed the hoax, then you must have been watching (or reading) too much The Walking Dead.

Anyway, if you still feel like you’re in danger, then you might be one of the few who’s willing to unload $24,000 to purchase the Z.E.R.O. Zombie Apocalypse Kit. It’s got everything – and I do mean everything – you’ll ever need to fight off the undead and protect yourself while you’re out in the wild.

Zombie Apocalypse Kit

The price is insane, but if you consider everything that you’ll be getting, then maybe it’s a price that you can actually stomach. Highlights of the Z.E.R.O. kit include thermal and night vision scopes, guns, knives, tactical vests, multitools, practice targets and even tools for evaluating biological samples. It also comes with the awesome OPMOD tactical mug. The full list of items in the kit are listed here.

(But again, we’re telling you: there is no zombie apocalypse. Just saying.)

Z World Zombie Theme Park Could Make Abandoned Detroit a Cool Place to Visit

I’m sure most of us have watched zombie shows such as The Walking Dead and wondered if we would be able to survive a zombie apocalypse. An entrepreneur named Mark Siwak has a seriously awesome idea for a theme park that would let you find out how you would fare if zombies were to attack. The man has a plan to make a theme park using abandoned and derelict areas of Detroit called Z World.

zombie hoard

The idea is that people would come to the theme park in pay to enter a 200-acre apocalyptic style abandoned urban setting where you can run and hide from zombies to your heart’s content. The idea would be to see if you can take refuge in the abandoned buildings and survive the zombie horde. Sadly, you won’t be able to try out your Crovel at Z World.

Siwak believes that this theme park could employ hundreds or even thousands of people in the Detroit area to shuffle around in zombie makeup and work other areas of the park. However, some think the plan is nothing more than an attempt to capitalize on Detroit’s woes. Apparently, Detroit has lost approximately area 1.1 million citizens since 1950 leaving massive areas uninhabited and crumbling. That sounds like the perfect place for a zombie theme park to me. For now, we’ll have to settle for this.

The Walking Dead Birthday Cake: for a Very Happy Undead Birthday

The Walking Dead is both one of my favorite graphic novels as well as television series. Sure, the TV series veers off course from the comics from time-to-time, but that’s to be expected. It’s still a pretty awesome show in my opinion. And to celebrate the TV series AND the birthday of one very lucky guy, we have this awesome Walking Dead inspired birthday cake.

walking dead cake 1

It was created by theRPF forum member Maelina in celebration of her husband’s (Gorgot3000′s) birthday. The scene shows Rick Grimes, Daryl, and Andrea taking up arms against the zombie horde from atop Dale’s Winnebago (poor Dale!), while Glenn finds himself chopping up a zombies with an axe on the ground in the middle of the action.

walking dead cake 4

Of course, Carl has been separated from dear old dad as usual, and has his own dangerous weapon in hand – though it seems as if he should point it at som zombies instead of the ground. Oh, Carl!

walking dead cake 2

The cake is made completely from cake, sugar paste, fondant and food coloring, so it’s completely edible. But it looks so good that I’d eat it if it were made from brains. Check out more pics of this incredible bit of edible zombie goodness over on Flickr.
