I-O Data is about to release their newest portable DVD writer, the DVRP-U8N. Measuring just 19mm thick and weighing about 300g, this thin and light drive features a USB 2.0 connection interface and promises to deliver write speeds of up to 8x or DVD-R/+R. Available in Piano Black, Pearl White and Orient Red color options, the DVRP-U8N will go on sale from late June for 4,700 Yen (about $46) and will come with a free video editing software ‘LoiLoScope 2′ for 30 days.
