Activision Blizzard Buys Itself Back From Vivendi For $8 Billion

Activision made a pretty big announcement yesterday as they will be brining Call of Duty: Ghosts as well as a number of other titles to the Nintendo Wii U, but it seems that wasn’t the only bit of big news the publisher had up its sleeves. According to a press release sent out by Activision Blizzard just a few hours ago, the studio has reached a deal with Vivendi Universal reacquire its shares for approximately $8 billion. (more…)
