Adam Levine House: Maroon 5 Rock Star Buys In Beverly Hills, Calif. (PHOTOS)

When Maroon 5 went on its very first tour, unknown singer Adam Levine didn’t have enough money to hold on to his $800 per month bedroom in a shared home, he told Architectural Digest. After the two-year tour was over, Levine had the opposite problem: he returned to LA a bonafide rock star, but had nowhere to rest his head. “I suddenly had a career,” said Levine to Architectural Digest, “but nowhere to live.”

Soon afterward, Levine invested some of that extra cash in a new Beverly Hills mansion, which makes for two multimillion-dollar properties under his name.

Celebuzz confirms that Levine closed the $4.8 million home purchase on Oct. 19. Known as the “Benedict House,” the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home sits on a 3.5 acre lot and boasts a pool, tennis court, canyon views and a guest house.
