‘Almost Human’ Premiere Date Changed To November 17

Fox has changed the premiere date for the Karl Urban sci-fi series “Almost Human” less than a month before the show was scheduled to debut. The futuristic cop series will now premiere on Sunday, Nov. 17 at approximately 8 p.m. ET following an “NFL on Fox” double-header, with the second episode premiering Monday, Nov. 18 in its regular timeslot of 8 p.m. ET, before a new episode of “Sleepy Hollow.”

“Almost Human” was originally supposed to debut at 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 4, but Fox apparently wanted to capitalize on the football lead-in for the J.J. Abrams and J.H. Wyman-produced series, telling EW: “There’s a football double-header that Sunday afternoon that could serve up a huge lead-in to sample the new show.”

Following the conclusion of Fox’s baseball coverage, “Bones” will continue to air Mondays at 8 p.m. ET with new episodes on Nov. 4 and Nov. 11, before shifting to its new Friday timeslot on Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. ET, followed by the Season 4 premiere of “Raising Hope,” which will debut with back-to-back episodes from 9 p.m. ET.
