At the moment, Google’s Android platform is dominating the market space and is followed by Apple’s iOS in second place. Of course given that Android comprises of a number of different OEMs, it is understandable that their market share is noticeably higher. However it seems that in the future, there is a good chance that Apple will end up dominating the mobile space as analyst Horace Dediu predicts that 68% of Americans will end up owning an iPhone.
