[CES 2014] Arcsoft, a software company that develops various imaging technologies, is coming to CES with its first hardware: the Simplicam, a WiFi surveillance camera that connects to Closeli, a cloud-based service platform accessible online.
Arcsoft claims that Simplicam is the first consumer-grade video surveillance solution to feature face tracking and the only solution to enable smartphone editing on the go.Face tracking allows the system to prevent the detection system to go off when the cat is moving in the house. Arcsoft will also add face recognition in its next software updates, to enable automatic switch off when the user is back home . (more…)
