Oliver Queen was determined to convince Laurel that his vigilante side could be trusted on “Arrow.” So much so that he ignored her very clear and direct warning to never talk to her again. After taking down the week’s bad guys, Oliver dropped by her office again to try and plead his case.

Laurel was still bitter over Tommy’s death in the Glades, where she saw the hooded vigilante slipping away. “I lost a friend that day, too. And I would gladly have given my life for his,” Oliver told her, but his plea to her humanity fell on deaf ears.

“Don’t worry. Your life is over,” Laurel said signaling the SWAT team she had on standby. ““Your life as a free man.”
