ASUS will launch their latest Full HD gaming monitor ‘VG248QE’ for the mass market. Adopting a TN panel, this new 24-inch LED-backlight monitor (144Hz refresh rate) provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio (80 million:1 ASCR), 350 cd/m2 brightness, 1ms GTG response time and 170/160 degree viewing angles. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 2W stereo speakers and has dual-link DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors. The VG248QE will go on sale from March 23rd for 37,800 Yen (about $394).
