Century is preparing to launch a new external HDD enclosure for the mass market, the Ikkoichi BOX2.5SATA USB3.0 & FireWire800 ARMORD EDITION. Encased in a shock resistant rubber sleeve ‘ARMOR PROTECTION’, the enclosure is equipped with a USB 3.0 connection interface, two FireWire 800 ports and can house a single 2.5-inch SATA3.0 (6Gbps) HDD/SSD. The Ikkoichi BOX2.5SATA USB3.0 & FireWire800 ARMORD EDITION will begin shipping from early March for 7,980 Yen (about $85). [Century]
