The other cool new product showcased at last night’s CES Showstoppers event at the Wynn Hotel and Casino came from music company, Roland. The company introduced new tutorial software for its HD-1 V-Drums Lite electronic drum kit.

The DT-HD1 software is designed to teach beginners how to play the drum through various courses. There are a handful of different modes, but the one that really caught my eye at the show was something that the company calls “falling bricks but that we just call “Rock Band mode.”

The software features 34 preset patterns, a metronome, drum mute, drum and pad solo, and A-B repeat. It’s compatible with Windows XP and ships with a UM-1G USB-MIDI interface and audio cable.

The software should be hitting store shelves in March. Check out a video of the software in action, after the jump.
