It’s July in San Diego and that only means one thing: COMIC CON.
Swarms of comic book-loving Americans take to the streets to celebrate the culture of anime, science fiction, fantasy and everything in between. The nerds are representing in full force — their boots are laced, their gloves are on, and in some cases, their fangs are out.
But the west coast’s annual nerd prom is not as niche as it used to be. Every year, Comic Con gets bigger, and more and more of Hollywood hits the road each summer to partake in four days of panels, screenings, autographs and interviews. We’re talking “The Hunger Games,” Harrison Ford, an “X-Files” reunion and even Metallica Day!
