“Glee” star Cory Monteith has checked into rehab for substance abuse treatment, reports People magazine.
The 30-year-old actor has voluntarily admitted himself to treatment, his rep told the magazine, adding, “He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.”
Monteith, who has been dating his “Glee” co-star Lea Michele since February 2012, has discussed his battled with addiction in the past.
