Movies are most often inaccurate representations of life, books, history, and so on. If you want to live life “like the movies” then you can get the Couch Bunker. This will give you cover for about the size of half of a queen-size bed. Not only that, but this is also a secret safe that will allow you to store up to 30 guns in one spot. It weighs 650 pounds, and is lined with a two-hour fire wall. The safe is 78×19.5×14”, and is locked up tight with two locks. Of course, you don’t have to use this for guns alone, as you can store a plethora of other valuables within that space. Accessing the safe is pretty simple as you only need to pull off the cushions and unlock it. Keep in mind that this won’t be easy to get to if you actually do find yourself in a dicey situation.
There are also optional bullet-resistant cushions that could act as a personal shield, but that means they’ll likely be less comfortable to sit on. The couch on its own will cost you anywhere from $6,800-9,800, and the optional cushions will tack on another $500 per seat panel. There are a variety of different colors to choose from, and if you didn’t know any better you’d likely think this was just a plain ole couch.
