If you haven’t yet heard of the cronut craze sweeping New York, then we really don’t know what to tell you other than to find one and eat it, immediately. People have been doing crazy things to score one of the creme-filled croissant-donut hybrids, such as standing in line at 6 a.m. and, according to cronut inventor Dominique Ansel, even delaying a marriage proposal.
Skip to 2:13 in the video above, posted to Refinery 29 Thursday, to hear Ansel describe the time a customer put off popping the question because he couldn’t get a cronut for his girlfriend that day. Now that’s dedication!
