What happens when Ed Sheeran shows up to a local Galway, Ireland, bar to shoot a video?

Well, judging from all the photos that surfaced on Twitter, the whole city tries to get in on the action.

On Tuesday, Sheeran was at a pub shooting the video for his song “Galway Girl” (fitting). The doors were reportedly closed to the public, but that didn’t stop people from crowding around and trying to spot the star.

According to one person on Twitter, people were even singing his songs in the streets. Another quipped, “Ed Sheeran going to a pub and leaving out the back door is the most exciting thing that has happened to Galway in a long time.”

When he left the bar, Sheeran made sure to show some love to the fans who stopped by. He shared a photo of a huge group of people on Instagram, writing, “Thank you to Galway and all the wonderful people in it for helping us shoot a music video yesterday.”
