Esquire Navy SEAL Article Wrongly Claims Health Care Was Denied: Stars And Stripes Report

Esquire’s interview with the Navy SEAL who shot and killed Osama bin Laden is under fire for a questionable segment surrounding the military service member’s health care.

Writer Phil Bronstein’s piece, published Monday and entitled “The Man Who Killed Osama bin Laden … Is Screwed” details some of the hardships experienced by the Navy SEAL since his September 2012 exit from the military. Among the claims put forth by the magazine — a loss of benefits due to his decision to leave prior to 20 years of service.
