Looking to snag someone on the rebound? That’s kind of the whole point of social networking, right? It’s certainly the raison d’etre for the not-so-subtly titled “Breakup Notifier.” The app trolls Facebook for you, so you can comfort and eventually needle your way into the arms of a newly single friend–just like a good friend should.
The app lets you make a list of the friends/coworkers/classmates who you’d like to, you know, get to know better. It’ll send you an alter every time someone on that list changes their relationship status to single. As the app’s tagline puts it, “You like someone. They’re in a relationship. Be the first to know when they’re out of it.”
That’s not creepy at all, right? I’m asking for a friend.
