Firewalker LED Sneakers – step up and shine on

Firewalker Sneakers
There are so many people in the world that it’s hard to stand out amongst the crowd. We all have our ways of creating our individuality, but what should matter most is your approach. You can buy your self image, but why do that when you can shape it with your own two hands?

The Firewalker LED Sneakers will definitely set you apart from the average Joe walking down the street. Mainly because light-up shoes were only in when we were little. However, these sneakers are far more awesome than children’s shoes, because there’s soldering and sewing involved! This DIY project will not only let you stand out amongst your peers, but you’ll also get the feeling of accomplishment from creating something that many people are undoubtedly going to comment on.

For this project you’re going to need conductive thread, FLORA boards, velostat, a pair of sneakers, a battery pack, and 2 meters of LED strip. There are some other tools such as sandpaper, tape, adhesive, and so on, but those won’t cost as much and are much easier to find (you may already have them sitting at home). As I mentioned above, you will need some cutting, sewing, and soldering skills to make these yourself, but that’s part of the fun, right? Depending on what type of shoes you buy, this could be somewhat costly of an endeavor, but maybe your attachment to your snazzy sneakers will have you keeping them in better shape for longer. This will definitely catch the eyes of passersby if you have the courage to wear them and deal with the remarks you’ll get.
