There are few things in this world that can make you feel quite so old as the birthday of a beloved gadget. Sure it seems like only yesterday, but the Game Boy–surely a Game Man by now–is celebrating its 20th birthday. The device, which revolutionized–if not pioneered–the world of portable console gaming was first released by Nintendo in 1989.
Since then the Game Boy has grown into one of the most beloved dynasties in all the gaming world. So take a moment and raise your DSi to toast the device that started it all.
