Two things to confirm here – yes, Garey Busey will soon be able to direct you to your destination, and yes, there is actually a company that specializes in obtaining and selling celebrity GPS voices.
Wanderlust Media, which claims it is “the global leader in celebrity and branded voice content for the GPS navigation industry,” has just signed the always entertaining Busey to make our commutes a bit more…well, insane?
Busey, who is elegantly described in an episode of Family Guy as “frequently aggressive in situations that don’t call for it,” joins Wanderlust’s collection of David Hasselhoff, Mr. T, Flavor Flav, and others in celebrity GPS voices being licensed to manufacturers all across the industry.
