Griffin Technology has proudly introduced the MIDIConnect for iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone. The device allows you to plug MIDI keyboards and other MIDI-capable devices into your iOS devices. The Griffin MIDIConnect works in conjunction with GarageBand or other MIDI-capable apps. What’s more, you can also download MIDI Controller apps to use the MIDI out port and your touchscreen display during a music performance as a MIDI controller. Both MIDI in and out ports are industry-standard 5-pin DIN connectors, which are compatible with most of MIDI cables and connectors.
