It’s a long drive, so make sure you keep that iPad powered up. To help you out, the gadget kings at Griffin have unveiled three new devices. Well, three updated devices, since these are existing designs that have been updated the 2.1 amp charging level required by the iPad.
- PowerJolt Plus for iPad (shown above; $29.99): This is the one for the car multi-tasker. Plug the PowerJolt into what used to be called the cigarette lighter but is now sometimes called the 12-volt accessory socket and you can plug another device into it. You’ll be able to charge two gadgets at once.
- PowerJolt Micro for iPad ($24.99): There are two reasons to love this one: because it’s so compact and because it comes apart to reveal a standard USB plug which you can use to sync with your computer.
- PowerJolt SE for iPad ($24.99): This simple charger works with your 12-volt accessory charger, and includes a lighted ring that lets you know when it’s ready to charge.
- PowerDuo for iPad ($39.99): This combo pack includes the
PowerBlock wall charger and the PowerJolt for iPad.
