It was earlier this evening over at the inaugural Buzzfeed Brews event in New York City, where HBO CEO Richard Plepler took to the stage and made an announcement that HBO and PlayStation have come together to work as a team, ensuring that the masses will be able to enjoy the hugely popular HBO GO app. The HBO GO app would be made available first on the Sony PS3, before it is set to arrive on the next generation Sony PS4 console itself. Having said that, I would have to ask – when would companies and publications stop referring to the PS4 as a next generation console before they accept the fact that this is a current generation device, and is set to stay?
