Honor Pad 10 Launches Globally With Snapdragon Chip And Larger Battery

Honor has officially introduced the Honor Pad 10, its latest mid-range tablet, to the global market. The device features notable upgrades over its predecessor, the Honor Pad 9, including a more powerful Snapdragon processor and a significantly larger battery. Positioned as a versatile productivity and media device, the Pad 10 may serve as a compelling alternative to entry-level laptops, especially given the launch-time accessory bundle.

The design follows the standard modern tablet aesthetic, featuring a sleek metal body with flat edges and a slim 6.3 mm profile. A key design change is the camera module, now color-matched to the device and repositioned to a corner on the back. Available colors vary by region, with Cyan (a blue-green hue) and Gray as the main options.

Under the hood, the Honor Pad 10 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, supported by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. This marks a performance jump from the Pad 9’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, allowing the new model to handle more demanding apps and games with ease.

The 12.1-inch IPS LCD display offers a Quad HD+ resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio, complemented by a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 500 nits of brightness. The tablet also features a six-speaker system, providing rich audio for its class.

Camera capabilities remain basic, with an 8 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear camera. These are sufficient for video calls, document scanning, and casual photography.

Battery life is one of the Honor Pad 10’s standout features. It houses a 10,100 mAh battery—up from the Pad 9’s 8,300 mAh—paired with 35 W fast charging. Combined with the efficiency of the newer chipset, users can expect extended usage between charges.

Additional features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, support for a stylus and keyboard case, and Android 15 running with the MagicOS 9.0 interface. However, Honor has not specified any update policy or software support timeline.
