HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G1
Posted in: Today's ChiliHP launched its new flagship business notebook the HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G1. At 15.9 mm, it is the thinnest Ultrabook in the Elite portfolio, according to HP which claims that it is also 16.1 percent thinner and 7.3 percent lighter than the previous generation.
Although the 14-inch device is getting really thin, it still passes the MIL –Standard drop test (30-inch, 24 drops) and the MIL-STD 810G for battery durability. The EliteBook Folio 1040 G1 features the latest generation (4th gen) Intel Core processors with integrated graphics, and comes with a choice of HD or Full HD 1080p 14-inch display. The notebook is geared for business so it comes with the typical enterprise features such as finger print reader, TPM inside, SmartCard and dual authentication. It is now compatible with a new docking station that is the same across all the EliteBook portfolio.
