HP might be focused on the notebook and desktop markets a whole lot more compared to churning out tablets, but this does not mean that they have gotten away from the tablet game completely after all these years. There is the HP Slate 8 Pro which was first mentioned last year, in addition to entry level Android-powered tablets rolling out just last month. Having said that, the HP Slate 8 Pro that retails for $310 thereabouts in the US and comes with an 8” 1600 x 1200 pixel display, an NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 1GB RAM, and 16GB of internal memory might be getting a “sibling” soon, especially when an unannounced model known as the HP Slate 8 Pro 7650 has appeared on the FCC website.
