Huawei, a company that has remained in the background for quite a long time simply being an ODM (Original Device Manufacturer), and intend to make the transition to an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) company in this year. After rolling out devices for other companies for quite some time, they have now ended up as the third largest handset manufacturer in the world. Huawei’s expertise to date include rolling out Android-powered devices, and it does seem as though the company intends to work on a dual booting Windows Phone and Android handset.
