Hulu Sells Off Japan Operations

All good things must come to an end, and concerning the Hulu service in Japan which was launched nearly three years back, being a first-of-its-kind subscription video on demand service in the market, it seems that Hulu will be selling off its Japan operations to a strategic buyer. The interested party would be Nippon Television Network Corporation (Nippon TV), who will take over the day-to-day operations as well as management of the business when the transaction closes.
