I-O Data is set to drop their newest 24x external DVD writer, the DVR-UA24EZ2. Specs-wise, the drive features a USB 2.0 connection interface, ultra-high-speed writing support and can provide write speeds of up to 24x for DVD-R/+R. The DVR-UA24EZ2 will go on sale from the end of April for 7,200 Yen (about $69) and will come with a free video editing software ‘LoiLoScope 2′ for 30 days. [I-O Data]
