I-O Data has once again expanded its line of portable DVD writers by announcing the DVRP-U8H. Measuring just 20mm thick, this slim drive features a USB 2.0 connection interface and can burn DVDs at speeds of up to 8x. The DVRP-U8H will go on sale from mid-February for 6,405 Yen (about $72) and will come bundled with Roxio Creator DVD authoring software and Nero 12 Essentials software. [I-O Data]
