iiyama is set to launch a new LCD monitor, the ProLite E1780SD. Adopting a TN panel, this new 17-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1280 x 1024 SXGA resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. It also comes with two built-in 1W stereo speakers and has D-Sub and DVI-D connectors.
