iiyama is about to release their latest gaming monitor, the ProLite GB2488HSU. Adopting a TN panel, this 24-inch flicker-free LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness and 1ms (GTG) response time. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 3W stereo speakers and has DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors. The ProLite GB2488HSU will go on sale from April 1st for 36,852 Yen (about $358).
