iiyama is set to drop another LCD monitor ‘ProLite XB2485WSU’ into the market. Adopting an IPS panel, this new 24-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1200 WUXGA resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms (GtoG) response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. What’s more, it also comes with two built-in 1.5W speakers and features D-Sub, DVI-D and DisplayPort connectors. The ProLite XB2485WSU will start shipping from October 12th for 35,800 Yen (about $457). [iiyama]
