Jason Campbell Starting For Browns At Quarterback, Brandon Weeden Benched

BEREA, Ohio — BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Browns backup quarterback Jason Campbell will replace struggling Brandon Weeden and start on Sunday in Kansas City.

Coach Rob Chudzinski announced the decision to sit Weeden on Tuesday. Chudzinski said the choice to go with Campbell was based on “consistency and production.” Chudzinksi said the bottom line is that Campbell, who has made 71 career starts in the NFL, gives the Browns the best chance against the unbeaten Chiefs.
