Justice League Movie In 2017: Warner Bros. Announces Superhero Team Up At Comic-Con

A huge Saturday of geek news just got a little bigger. According to THR, Warner Bros. is set to release the Justice League movie in 2017.

“Justice League” would follow the Superman and Batman film that the studio is planning for 2015, as well as a screen adaptation of The Flash in 2016. The Los Angeles Times was first to report the Superman and Batman film — which may have the title of “The World’s Finest” — with THR confirming that news. “Man of Steel” star Henry Cavill will return as Superman for that feature with Zack Snyder once again directing. Which star will take over for Christian Bale as Batman remains to be seen.

“Justice League” was originally rumored to have a 2015 release date.
