K’Nex is an amazing building system. People have made some really amazing and huge contraptions using nothing but K’Nex pieces. The latest is this amazing K’Nex pinball machine from University of Colorado student Andrew Locke.
There must be tens of thousands of K’nex pieces on this beast. The end result is an impressive working pinball machine built entirely out K’Nex. At the main flipper level, this thing may lack a lot of the flashy goals that we commonly see on pinball machines, but it more than makes up for that by taking a skyscraper approach. Most of the action takes place above the table as the ball goes on one heck of a roller coaster ride thanks to various lifts and tracks.
Check out the video and for more amazing pictures and details head over to Locke’s Instructables page.
