Battery fires can be nasty business as we have seen in the past, which is why Lenovo has recently recalled around 37,000 ThinkPad batteries over a potential fire hazard. Thankfully these affected models aren’t any of Lenovo’s newer models, but rather those sold between October 2010 to April 2011.
According to a statement released on the US Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website, “This recall involves Lenovo battery packs sold with the following ThinkPad notebook computers: the Edge 11, 13 and 14 series, the T410, T420, T510 and W510 series, and the X100e, X120e, X200, X201 and X201s series.
