Mad Catz announces R.A.T.TE gaming mouse for the masses

If you are on the lookout for a new gaming mouse, then you might want to consider what the folks over at Mad Catz have on offer – which is the Mad Catz R.A.T.TE. Just what does TE stand for? It is the Mad Catz R.A.T. Tournament Edition, which will target the competitive gaming community, offering its ultra lightweight chassis as well as a level of high speed performance.

This is a new mouse which was specially designed for the professional and competitive gaming community, and it is tipped to ship in early 2014 for both PC and Mac platforms. The Mad Catz R.A.T.TE has been specially designed to appeal to the e-sports professional, where it comes with a newly developed Phillips Doppler-laser sensor, where it comes with a reference quality tracking with speeds up to 8200 DPI.

Each feature of the R.A.T.TE has been specially engineered for mobility, performance and precision, where its weight has been reduced to decrease inertia; speed and resolution which have been radically so that it can deliver faster reaction times, alongside programmable button mapping that has been optimized for popular e-sports games. Not only that, there are customizable attributes which will include ‘Lift-Off’ height calibration and dynamic surface detection thrown into the mix to create the ideal mouse for professional gamers.
