Massachusetts Power Outages MAP: Hurricane Sandy Leaves Thousands Without Electricity (INFOGRAPHIC)
Posted in: Today's ChiliIn the wake of Hurricane Sandy, widespread power outages have been reported throughout the Northeast. Largely affected states include New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
The map below shows power outages across the state of Massachusetts, along with projected timetables for restored electricity. The information was compiled from data provided by National Grid as of 9 p.m. ET Tuesday night. (For more recent updates on power outages in New England be sure to visit National Grid’s Power Outage Map.)
As of Wednesday afternoon, about 85,000 customers were still without power in Massachusetts.
