Parting is always such sweet sorrow, or so the saying goes. I suppose it is time to bid goodbye to Windows Azure and give Microsoft Azure a nice, big welcome hug. Why so? Apparently, Microsoft intends to rebrand its cloud platform so that it will no longer be called ‘Windows Azure’, but rather, one would have to refer to it as ‘Microsoft Azure’ from now on as part of the software giant’s push to emphasize its cross-platform services prowess, if the anonymous tips shared online prove to have credibility.
